Polymerase chain reaction (PCR)

Test method: PCR (polymerase chain reaction) in real time, for identifying the RNA of the pathogen in human biological material.

Test material: smear / discharge of the oropharynx and nasopharynx.

Preparation for the test: 3-4 hours before the study, it is not recommended to consume food or drink, chew gum, smoke, brush your teeth, rinse your mouth, or apply medicines (drops, nasal sprays).

Test procedure: a smear is taken with sterile probes from the surface of the tonsils, palatine arches and the posterior wall of the oropharynx, and along the outer wall of the nasal passage at a sufficient depth.

Time required: 24 hours, not counting the day of collection.

Antibodies

IgG antibodies to RBD domain S 1 of SARS-Cov2 coronavirus protein, qty. This test method determines the level of immunity after infection and after vaccination.

Test method: IHLA method (immunochemiluminescence analysis, modification of ELISA), taking blood from a peripheral vein

Preparation: test must be performed on an empty stomach, or not earlier than 3-4 hours after eating; do not smoke for 30 minutes before the test.

Express tests

Detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigen (COVID-19 Ag).

Designed for the qualitative detection of the SARS-CoV-2 antigen in human biological material (nasopharyngeal swab). The kit is used as an aid in early diagnosis. Antigen test results should not be used as the sole basis for confirming or excluding SARS-CoV-2 infection or for informing the status of infection.

Test material: nasopharyngeal smear / discharge.

Research technique: a smear is taken with a sterile probe along the outer wall of the nasal passage to a sufficient depth.

Term of execution: 5-8 minutes.
