Moving to another country is always stressful. For those who move to a metropolis city like Moscow, it’s nearly impossible to escape the stress.
In the Anglo-American School, there are more than 1,200 students, coming from 60 countries, and for many of them, this is their first year in here.
In addition, the school employs over 300 people, and half of them are expats. In support of the Anglo-American community, the school decided to organize a fair with presentations of companies, whose activities are related to health and upholding a healthy lifestyle. Our clinic was readily invited, seeing as we are medical providers of the school for many years now.
The fair was accompanied by a charity run, and resulting proceeds were donated to the Nastenka Fund for treatment of children with cancer.
A lively, talkative atmosphere quickly unfolded around our stand: welcome Dr. Yang, our family doctor, an expat, and Anait Grishkyan, our children’s dentist. It was wonderful to see families of both already familiar patients, and worried parents with questions about how to live in this new, unfamiliar city. Doctor Yang shared stories about his experiences in Moscow and the vast opportunities to receive medical services through our clinic. We thank the coordinators of this fair for organizing such a necessary event.
